John Sprengelmeyer fully illustrated Quick Stops #1 (Vol. 3) for Dark Horse Comics and Secret Stash Press, and also created two covers for the issue. Written by (filmmaker & actor) Kevin Smith, the comic functions as both a full-comic adaptation of his film Chasing Amy and a meta recreation of the comic within the movie itself. In Chasing Amy, protagonist Holden McNeil creates a deeply personal comic about love, insecurity, and growth—only briefly seen on screen. This issue brings that fictional comic fully to life, presenting Holden’s complete work for the first time.
